Summer school dilemma

Summer classes or no summer classes? This is the question I have been asking myself for weeks, and as of now I am still undecided. The main purpose of summer is to go home, have fun, vacation, catch up with old friends and possibly have a summer job—if necessary. Life, liberty and the pursuit of a degree

Trey Ferguson, Viewpoint Editor

As another year comes to a close, we say goodbye to one class and welcome in another. As we welcome a class of new students, I think back to my starting ambition; what motivated me to continue my learning in the realm of higher education. Rabbits & Charizards

Ahmed Amer, Deputy Viewpoint Editor

Students, if you’ve been keeping up with my columns, then you’ll know I’m not an open book. I don’t like to talk about myself; it just seems redundant when everyone else is talking about me for me. It's not just religion, it's my life

This is a column about Christianity. Now, before you start running in the opposite direction, thinking I am anything like the crazy “Brickyard Preacher,” Brother Ross, I must inform you that he is an outlier among Christians. Most of the time, Christians are not going to shove their faith down your throat with such anger and judgment.

Alternative fuel: the only option

Gripes about rising fuel cost are nothing new. Since 2008, Americans have been hurting at the pump, and that angst has manifested itself as resentment towards our political officials and big business.
