The NC State defense has allowed 99 points in its last two games, against Wake Forest and Clemson, and has allowed 219 points in its five losses this season, with only 84 points scored in those games. In what seems like a must-win for the Pack, which needs to win two of its next three games to qualify for a bowl game, the defense must step up to expectations against a Cardinals offense that has outperformed the Pack’s this season.

This week saw a roller coaster for NC State quarterbacks, but was highlighted by the Russell Wilson-led Seahawks clinching an impressive victory on Monday Night Football, while Ryan Finley saw his first NFL action. The Tigers lead the all-time series 58-28-1 and are currently on a seven-game win streak, tied for the longest win streak by the Tigers in the series. If the Tigers win this game over the Pack, it will mark the longest win streak in the series at eight.

The NC State football team (4-4, 1-3 ACC) traveled to the BB&T field to play the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (7-1, 3-1 ACC) over the weekend, but came back home with a difficult 44-10 loss at the hands of the No. 23 Deacs. Neither side of the ball looked fantastic, but being matched up with such a prolific offense did numbers on a damaged Wolfpack defense. Let’s take a look at how each defensive grouping performed.

The 2019-20 NBA season is underway, and only two players from NC State are on NBA rosters, despite having four last season. Despite this, many players are signed to professional clubs and have bright futures ahead of them playing professionally. These include three alumni on G-League rosters, giving them a good shot to eventually crack an NBA roster. Let’s take a look at where some players ended up over the summer.
