The NC State men’s soccer team (7-3-3, 3-2-1 ACC) will return home to play Elon this Tuesday at 7 p.m. in a non-conference matchup. The Wolfpack is looking to bounce back after a short two-game road trip with draws against South Carolina and Duke. 

The NC State football offense had another lackluster performance at Florida State on Saturday, Sept. 28. Following a bye week last week, the Pack will take on Syracuse at home in an 8:00 p.m. Thursday primetime matchup.

It is a very busy week here at NC State for Pack sports teams. There are numerous home games as well as a few events just down the road from campus. 

The NC State softball team took the field on Friday night in its first home matchup for the fall season against Louisburg College. After ending the 2019 season 31-27 and ending its ACC tournament run in the semifinals last spring, the team was expecting to begin this fall on a high note.  

While the professional baseball season may be ending, this is the first week of fall ball for the NC State baseball team. The Wolfpack has two fall scrimmages in the upcoming weeks; this Sunday, Sept. 29 the team plays at home against South Carolina and Oct. 6 it will be playing at UNC-Wilmington. 

Week two was another strong week for NC State University alumni, particularly the quarterbacks from “QBU.”  Russell Wilson, Phillip Rivers and Jacoby Brissett all had solid starts, and some rookies had strong games as well. Let’s see how some players performed this week.

It’s a slower week for NC State sports home events, but there is plenty of soccer for you to enjoy. Here are this week's upcoming games.
