I'm Nicholas Schnittker, one of the two assistant sports editors for Technician. I'm in the class of 2022 and am currently majoring in communication and minoring in journalism. I have been at Technician since August 2018 and an editor since May 2019.

In the buildup to NC State and Clemson’s prime-time clash, the question was never whether Clemson would win; it was always how much it would win by. The answer to that question ended up being 45, as Clemson dismantled NC State to the tune of 55-10.

A program-best five players from the NC State women’s soccer team were selected for All-ACC honors this year. Senior forward Tziarra King was selected to the first team, the German trio of senior defender Krissi Schuster, senior midfielder Ricci Walkling and redshirt sophomore Lulu Guttenberger were all selected to the third team, and freshman forward Jameese Joseph was selected to the all-freshman team.

The NC State men’s soccer team finished the ACC regular season in third place in the ACC Atlantic and earned itself the fifth seed in the ACC Championship. The Pack’s opponents for the first round will be the 12th-seeded Duke Blue Devils, who finished bottom of the ACC Coastal.

The NC State men’s soccer team fell to ACC regular season champion No. 2 Clemson 3-0 on Friday night. Even with the loss, the Wolfpack will host an ACC Championship first round match on Tuesday or Wednesday as results elsewhere went in the Pack’s favor.
