Coming off an upset victory over Texas and a sweep of North Carolina A&T this past weekend, the No. 7 NC State men’s tennis team was swept 4-0 by the No. 2 North Carolina Tar Heels in the Wolfpack’s first conference match of the season. This was the 10th consecutive victory for UNC over NC State in men’s tennis.

This past weekend, the NC State baseball team swept the James Madison Dukes in a three-game set. On opening day, the Pack got a 4-0 win behind junior Nick Swiney’s 11-strikeout performance despite a slower day at the plate. The NC State men’s basketball team traveled to Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin and was unable to hold on to a double-digit second half lead and fell 78-74 to the No. 22 Badgers.

In a matchup that will feature two teams of contrasting styles and tempos, the NC State men’s basketball team will head north to face Wisconsin in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Tuesday in what will be the Wolfpack’s first road matchup of the season.
