The NC State baseball team will kick off its season on Valentine’s Day, beginning the year with a series against James Madison. Last year, the Pack went 42-19 and began the year at 19-0 but sputtered the second half of the season, going 23-19 after that undefeated stretch.

The NC State Wolfpack men’s basketball team goes head-to-head against the Clemson Tigers at Littlejohn Arena in Clemson, South Carolina Saturday. This will be a grudge match for Clemson, as the last two encounters with NC State came down to the wire. The first of these ended with a stellar 3-point buzzer-beater from Wolfpack junior guard Braxton Beverly, and the second ended with an amazing second-half comeback that kicked Clemson out of the ACC Tournament.

While the professional baseball season may be ending, this is the first week of fall ball for the NC State baseball team. The Wolfpack has two fall scrimmages in the upcoming weeks; this Sunday, Sept. 29 the team plays at home against South Carolina and Oct. 6 it will be playing at UNC-Wilmington.
