Students ready to flood the street for the biannual Hillsborough Hike

It's sunny and warm. Classes are soon over, and the smell of freedom resonates for many seniors. But for people like Alison Smith, a senior in chemical engineering, there is one last celebration that must take place: the Hillsborough Hike. This biannual celebration for seniors is the perfect end to their four years at NCSU, Smith said.

Game broadcasts switch to Mix 101.5

Wolfpack sports marketing said it is switching radio networks for football and men's basketball because of coverage and financial reasons

=A long-standing partnership between N.C. State and radio station 680 WPTF is coming to an end. The Athletics Department announced Monday that NCSU football and men's basketball games will be aired on Mix 101.5 FM starting in the fall. WPTF general manager David Stuckey deferred questions about why the switch was made to NCSU officials.

The sixth annual Art to Wear Fashion Show is tonight in the Court of North Carolina

The College of Design and the College of Textiles are sponsoring the sixth annual Art to Wear Fashion Show today at 8 p.m. in the Court of North Carolina. Fifteen student designers from the colleges will have the opportunity to showcase designs they put together throughout last semester and this semester.

Senate confirms 7 cabinet appointments

Luckadoo and Weeks referred to committee for further review

The Student Senate confirmed most of Student Body President Bobby Mills' cabinet appointments. However, the Senate referred former SBP candidates Kate Luckadoo and Josh Weeks' appointments to the committee on appointments for further review. Mills said his cabinet's job is to be there to help him execute certain duties that he chooses to help improve the student body.

The Centennial Campus Development Office is holding the Centennial Lunch Market in an effort to provide those on Centennial Campus with an on-site lunch option. Centennial Lunch Market is a luncheon for students, faculty and corporate partners on Friday April 27 from 11 a.

Clarifications In Tuesday's page-one story "Engineering student passes away," some statements were unclear to the reader. The story was about Kristine Armstrong, who died April 21 from a severe asthma attack. Although she wasn't having an asthma attack the night before she died, her friend Tiffany Spivey said she was breathing heavier than normal.
