Hoops 4 Hope 2009

Photojournalists Dreier Carr, David Mabe, Matt Moore, Daniel Tanaka and Luis Zapata covered the fourth anual Hoops 4 Hope basketball event Sunday.  With a sell-out crowd of 8,560, the women’s basketball team defeated No. 17 Virginia 60-54 in Reynold’s Coliseum.  Hoops 4 Hope not only marked the Wolfpack’s first win against a nationally ranked team in more than a year, but also raised  $91,232.72 for the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.
