The last time Student Senate reapportioned its seats was 1997, but Sen. Stephen Kouba has plans to change that within the next year despite the rejection of Government Bill 76 by the Senate Feb. 24. The bill, also called The Great State Compromise, would have reapportioned senate seats, but Kouba said many senators felt it was rushed.

Artist explains meaning behind the statues
Three new wolf statues are unveiled in front of the Freedom of Expression Tunnel March 9, 2010.The artist and the Chancelor speak during the ceremony. The artist, Michael Stutz, said they represent Determination, Observation, and Expressioin. Student Body President said they will help to create memories.Many students rode the statues afterwards and there were free cup cakes.

11th seeded Wolfpack looking to continue recent success at conference tournament
Only one team at this weekend’s ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament will be seeded lower than the 11th-seeded Wolfpack, Miami, who heads to Greensboro after finishing the regular season with a record of 17-14 overall and 5-11 in conference play. But after wins in three of its last four games, coach Sidney Lowe and his players comments after Sunday’s season-ending win over Boston College reflected anything but apprehension.

Team wins first three rounds but falls 70-60 to well-rested Duke in finale
The Wolfpack Women’s tremendous performance in the 2010 ACC Tournament came to a close on Sunday in Greensboro in a 70-60 loss to top-seeded Duke. The Blue Devils were in the title game for the third consecutive year and was determined to fight hard and not falter again after two losses.
